About konni
at the age of just 4 years, konni started making music for the first time at a local music school. Over time, they became more and more interested in electronic genres, being heavily influenced by pioneers such as Kraftwerk or more recent artists like Avicii. They started out by recording fully analog on tape decks, using cheap 90’s toy keyboards, drum computers from the 1980s and a very old and dodgy mixing console.

Over time, konni began experimenting with more unusual sound sampling techniques, such as animal voices or the sound of an accelerating train. nowadays, their productions are fully digital, utilizing modern technologies such as binaural postproduction.
Genres are like skinny jeans: If you want to feel good in them, you have to take them off.
konni
konni describes their own music as „non-genre“, traversing the limitations that putting their work in a box would mean. Their music is supposed to paint an empty canvas on the listeners‘ mind, not to fully dictate the story.
