This ep / mini album was konni’s debut after performing under a different name for several years. Their new musical identity started here, this work is a transition point, a liminal space in konni’s musical „career“.
When I recorded Welcome to the other Side, I wanted to create a bridge, not a barrier between who and what I used to be. I will always be the person who has been who I have been, there is no way to delete, to alter or to hide the past, except for the vail of passing time itself. So by creating WTTOS, I wanted to build on top of what I had already achieved musically. My main inspiration was in this case myself, these four tracks tell small stories from my own life and show another facet of my personality.
